Scope: this privacy notice covers the scottsilva.com personal homepage and the Childhood, Understood microsite. Scott Silva is the project owner. A verified privacy-rights contact and final operator details are required before public release.
What this development implementation does
Your selections stay in the current page’s memory, not the CMS database. Public educational pages are stored in SQL Server. No reflection answers are written to browser storage or the database. Refreshing or choosing “Clear & leave” resets the reflection. Email is an optional, separately enabled service—not a simulation.
What it cannot erase
Your browser history, files you download, printouts and activity recorded by your device or the local preview server remain outside this page’s control. Do not use real personal data to review this development build.
Optional email delivery
Viewing results does not require an email address. When enabled, email uses a security cookie and request token, a five-minute in-memory inbox-verification record, and a fifteen-minute address-hash rate-limit record. Only after verification and final consent does a minimal summary pass to the mail provider. Raw childhood-experience answers are not transmitted. Provider delivery diagnostics may retain recipient and subject metadata in memory; the provider and hosting logs have separate retention practices that must be finalized before release.
No marketing or hidden profiling
This implementation has no marketing enrollment, answer-sale, clinical-record or AI-submission integration. Its complete-document delivery path omits inherited analytics. Security cookies are used when you initiate email. Actual hosting, provider tracking, access logs and retention still require release review.
Before public launch
Confirm the operator, privacy contact, service providers, collection purposes, retention periods, rights and deletion process, geographic scope, and incident response. Assess applicable consumer-health-data laws, HIPAA role and FTC rules. A separate consumer-health-data notice may be required.
